TIREHELP REFERENCE CENTRE

Tire Size Calculator

Calculate metric tire diameter, sidewall height, circumference and revolutions per kilometre in Canadian and imperial units.

How the calculator works

Sidewall height equals section width multiplied by aspect ratio divided by 100. Overall diameter adds two sidewalls to the rim diameter converted from inches to millimetres. Circumference is π multiplied by overall diameter.

What the result cannot confirm

Nominal measurements are useful for comparison but do not establish actual mounted dimensions or compatibility. Construction, manufacturer specifications, approved rim width, load, speed, pressure and vehicle clearance remain essential.
