What speed rating B means
The B speed-category symbol corresponds to 50 km/h (31 mph) under the standardized test and operating conditions. This is a tire capability classification—not a recommended driving speed or permission to exceed a posted limit.
Replacement safety
Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements. Load, pressure, temperature, condition and vehicle configuration also matter, and high-speed categories have specific load adjustments.
